ILLINOIS IP VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Lemelson-MIT Program is funding two Illinois Teams this school year. Teams work the entire year conceptualizing, designing, and building a working prototype of their invention to present in June. InvenTeams provides technical and process guidance; the goal is to come to MIT with a "patent pending" invention.

The IP needs for the 2 Illinois teams will be provisional patents prior to the MIT presentation. It would be helpful for an IP specialist to explain the process to educate the students. Filing assistance will be needed also for a provisional patent.
